Karla grew up in Southern California and is a first-generation college graduate. Driven by a curiosity for how materials, forces, and structures interact to create reliable mechanical systems, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside. Her emphasis on materials and structures led her to a career in the material handling industry in 2020. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and caring for her dogs and cats. For fun, you can often find her at a concert, an amusement park, or a thrift store.
